THE HOME PAGE:

*Congratulations to Julie (Suwalski) and Gunnar Marshall who were married on August 2nd, 2008!  They honeymooned in Europe for two weeks!  Send the happy couple a note of congrats by clicking on her name above!

*Congratulations to Andrea (Davis) Mountain and her husband, Rich, on the birth of baby Emily in May 2008!  Check out her Classmate Profile to see pictures of her beautiful family.  Well wishes can be sent via the messaging system built into this website!

*IMPORTANT NEWS:  Gary Parrill passed away on May 29, 2008.  Please go to the In Memory page if you would like to read his obituary.

*Your Greenon High School Boosters Association is holding its biggest fundraiser ever in support of the entire Athletic Department.  How can you help?  Buy a BRICK!  The Knights sidewalk is being installed in the football stadium area as you walk in.  YOU get to design your own brick.  Click on the icon/link below to get more information and print the form.  Your Reunion Committee has purchased a GHS Class of 1988 brick for $65, which will have graphic # 3G on it (Knight on horse), so we can be part of what will be installed this summer (look for it at the Homecoming Game!).  If you would like to contribute toward the purchase of our brick, make sure you do so while registering for the reunion!  If you are interested in purchasing your own brick, there will be additional opportunities to purchase bricks each school year for each phase of installation, so if you missed the deadline, check back here next year or go directly to the Greenon Local Schools website.  You'll find a link there!

Message that appeared on Home Page following 20-Year Reunion:  Hey, Everybody!  I think I can safely say our 20-Year Reunion was a TREMENDOUS success!  Woohoo!!!  The football team actually WON the homecoming game (22 - 20 thank you very much), the drinks were flowin' at Legend's (I think some of us stayed until 3 a.m.!), the weather was spectacular at Young's for the Family Event (I could not have ordered a better day from Mother Nature herself), the dinner/dance at the Officer's Club went off without a hitch (followed by Cadillac Jack's for the diehard partiers), and breakfast at the Golden Jersey Inn was just what the doctor ordered ... they have GREAT coffee with real cream (what else)!  After this weekend, there's one thing I know for sure, we all still look fabulous!  Twenty years have only made us better!

To everyone who attended ... THANK YOU for making our reunion such a huge success!  For ALL that sponsored us on ANY LEVEL, your donations ($1,300!!!) are the reason the committee was able to deliver a great weekend!  Some traveled from afar (Natalie [Hoyle] Moncada--over 2,200 miles from California won a prize for farthest traveled), some drove in from neighboring states, while a lot of us still live in the tri-county area.  No matter where we live, we can all stay in touch through this website (thanks, again, classmates for your support of this website and it's domain name--we'll have it for AT LEAST six more years!).

To everyone who did not attend ... WE MISSED YOU!  If you would like to purchase a Memory Book, click here!  The Memory Book has been designed and is available at www.mypublisher.com... the slideshow below will give you a good idea of what it will look like, except it will be two-sided when printed.

I want to give a quick shout-out to J.J. Menozzi, who drove up with his wife Kelly, from Mississippi to attend the reunion.  J.J. served as our emcee for our 10-year reunion, and he graciously agreed to do that again for our 20-year reunion.  I'm better behind the scenes (public speaking was never my cup of tea--surprise, surprise!), and I think J.J. did an AWESOME job!!!  I especially loved the 80's trivia questions to determine door prize winners--that was a GREAT IDEA!  I also loved how he kept updating everybody on the OSU game ... (when I chose the date for the reunion weekend, I was told the game was a noon game ... )  Any way ...  Thank you, J.J.!

UPDATE!!!!!  Our photographer, Mark Wells from Photos on the Go, took over 3,000 pictures this weekend (he has since narrowed it down to a more manageable number of 1,300 pictures)!  He attended every single event!  Of course, there's no way I'll be able to put them all in the Memory Book ... but if you are interested in getting a CD or a DVD of the pictures, YOU CAN!  They are now available on Mark's website (CLICK HERE TO SEE THE PICTURES! ... our event is labeled accordingly).  Also, for those of you that had your picture made at the Officer's Club, you'll have an opportunity to purchase those pictures in a variety of sizes on his website.  Candid shots from the entire weekend will also be available for purchase at a variety of sizes and prices.  MARK WILL GIVE BACK 10% OF HIS SALES TO OUR CLASS REUNION FUND!  Yeah!
