Thanks Heidi! I've been meaning to update it for awhile, but with my stepdad in hospital since Nov. 17th, all my free time is spent there. Couldn't go today ... not feeling well ... and got tired of laying around (having dizzy spells ... they suck) ... anywho ... thanks for noticing the changes!

Thanks Danea & Willie for stepping out of the "politically correct" and responding from the heart... I appreciate that ;)
On a more lighter note... I am hitched! Yea! Guess I need to update my profile again...
Hope everyone had a great holiday season!

Just looked up Justin Chambers on iMDB
Very cool! I had no idea he was famous... Although I do remember watching the movie The Wedding Planner and thinking... "he looks really familiar"
LOL... (Geez, am I out of it)
I do remember being Jason's girlfriend for a few short weeks in junior high.. ha ha... and sneaking outside the school (Indian Valley) for a smooch or two... They were both pretty fun to hang out with. Justin was entertaining and Jason was very sweet.

That man must be a good kisser on film because it sounds like he got a LOT of practice growing up! I can't say that I ever got to experience his lips! :)
Krista through Matt Sprague has followed Justin's career for years. It was wild to see all his print ads and modeling work. He was pretty big in the modeling world in the 90's!

I am pretty sure Justin began his career in modeling when he got "discovered" while visiting Matt in Europe. But that is just what I heard years ago, who knows.

Danea if that story is true that would be off the chain.
That means Matt could play himself if they ever make a tv movie about the rise of Justin Chambers. If Justin didn't want to play himself they could ask his brother Jason!! It's just crazy enough to work!!!

Don't quote me on this because I have a TERRIBLE memory!
But yes, I believe Matt was living in NYC and invited Justin to come there. I'm pretty sure Matt was involved somehow. Too bad MATT doesn't read this! He could tell us what happened. :)

Ok so they are releasing a remake of Friday The 13th on Feb 13th. JT and I always got a shitload of people togather when we were kids and went and saw all the new F13 movies. I remember my car being crammed with deweys, Tiffners, Gowers, Tropps, Ramseys, Wunders and Peters!
Is anyone going to see the new Friday The 13th? Did you guys outgrow all that mess? Am I just hella inmature?
I'm trying to get a huge group of my friends to go see it here in ATL just like old times. I have a commitment from 4 people. Sigh......

You crack me up! Yeah rt..me on SI!! I just recently got comfortable with the camera (can you tell). Took practically 35 yrs to fully accept who and what I am; before I shunned away from any kind of attention (once again, blame it on outside influences). Now...my head is sooo big, figured after all the crap, I'm entitled to it...got a lot of makin up to do :) I just like to acknowledge beautiful women, if you look good..you look good, no shame in my game. Davids pick is pg 15, and I can see why; she is all woman (curvy and thicky thick). "It could happen" ..not now..too old.
By the way...gorgeous flowers (go Matt!).

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday'? He must really be a 'nerd'.
I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.
As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running towards him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them in the grass about ten feet from him...
He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes.
My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said 'Those guys are jerks; they really should get lives.'
He looked at me and said, 'Hey thanks!'
There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.
I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived . As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to a private school before now. We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be pretty cool kid.
I asked him if he wanted to play a little football..with my friends. He said yes. We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I like him, and my friends thought the same of him.
Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!' He just laughed and handed me half the books.
Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends..when we were seniors we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship..
Kyle was valedictorian of our class. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak.
Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jeolous! Today was one of those days.
I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!'
He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled.
'Thanks,' he said.
As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began
'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends....I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them.'
I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told about the first day we met.
He had planned to kill himself over the weekend.
He talked of how he had cleared out his locker so his mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.
He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.
'Thankfully, I was saved.
My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable...'
I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us about his weakest moment.
I saw his mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile.
Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.
Never underestimate the power of your actions......
With one small gesture you can change a person's life.
For better or for worse.

In Sports Illustrated dated April 27, 2009 pg 63, its publishes an invitation to 'stamp out hunger'. It states 13 mil children are at risk of hunger, so on May 9th, with collaboration with the mail carrier, if you leave a bag of non perishable food by your mailbox on May 9th, the carrier will pick them up and deliver it to your local food banks. My husband actually brought it to my attention and thought that was very creative. As ya'l know, we thrive on assisting the unfortunate from donating small things (and we consider this small) to donating or contributing to big things (scholarships, medical bills, fundraisers, organizational donations, etc).

New reality show "bully beatdown" - The host was a 'geek' in high school and became this built, cut guy (became a pro wrestler). He got picked on in school soo bad that he wanted to 'help' other victims. So the victim calls him, he arrives and challenges the bully to a wrestling match with a pro for ten thou. Everytime he taps out, he loses a few thou and the victims gain. One episode I watched, the bully ended up with one thou, and the victims got nine thou. During the training and match he taunts them and gives him a taste of their own medicine....

Wow..was supose to be doing some paperwk and a show on mtv (last channel it was left from child) caught my attention. Its called 'if you really knew me'; its slogan is 'thin line between words and wounds'. College students were instructing the seminar to a high school, so of course the kids were more keen to listen. Listening to the beginning of the seminar quickly got my attention. They told them that a large percentage of how we see people aren't who they really are. That most people supress feelings from each other like hurt, jeolousy, envy, etc. So if they supress (hide) these emotions than what we are really expressing to each other is fake. The big group of high schoolers consisted of nerds, preps, athletes, goth, etc. They broke them into smaller groups and had them do series of exercises. One of them was to get in a circle, so close that their knees touched, each had to start by saying 'if you really knew me, you would know that.....'. Wow!! they got deep. Another was each had to apologize to another for whatever hurt they caused. The last challenge was to continue the openness the days after. The show did a follow up, and the students were able to maintain what they learned. I was very impressed that this kind of show aired on mtv where sooo many young viewers watch. Where was this crap when we were growing up?? I'm always for the underdog...so for them, that type of show offers us a little bit of hope that things will get better...
