For those who have followed it for quite some time..remember the players Alton and Ruthie? They were the only reason I kept watching and ultimately quit watching. They stayed away from drama, was admired and respected by all, and were extraordinary during challenges and one on ones. I greatly greatly greatly admired their will and drive. They were petite framed compared to the majority but overcame one by one. I quit watching after noticing several runs without them..now its just about cheisty (shady) strategies and popularity. Love "dancing with the stars"...

I love musicals! (hm, favorite reality show is DWTS and musicals. wonder if there is a connection.) the CD that I listened to the longest was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I listened to that soundtrack for three years.

wait... that was Donny Osmond and Donny is on DWTS this season. It's come back full circle....

I usually enjoy reality shows but then get bored and quit watching after about 3 seasons. The only reality show that I have kept with since the beginning is Dancing with the Stars.

It's a good natured show. Noone is out to hurt anyone. It's just good clean fun but it has it's share of drama! (Marie Osmond faiting-omg!, injuries, etc. Love it!

Hmmm ... Sugarland was my most recent and they were AWESOME!!! I also saw Garth Brooks when he was really popular ... he was great! We stood up at both concerts the entire time!

Who doesn't love the beach??? I love it there ... I also love camping ... there is just something so mesmerizing about watching the ocean or a campfire! My favorite place to vacation is actually ... lots of places ... which is going on a cruise! You get to see lots of places AND lots of beaches!

How To's ... Another READ ME!

The Forum is a 3-tiered system consisting of the following:

1) Categories pre-set by the site administrator. I'm limited to only three unless I "upgrade" our *FREE* membership, which would be $95 a year. No, this is not the domain name I'm talking about ... that is a separate cost.

2) Topics. There can be an infinite number of topics under each category. To start a new topic: choose a category, then click on "New Topic". Enter a title for your topic, type your message and click "Save". (Just FYI: A "sticky" topic is one that is tacked to the top of the page.)

3) Messages. To add to a topic already started, click on "Reply". Type your message and click "Save". Once saved, you can edit or delete your own message.

When first coming into the Forum, click on a Category title to see all the Topics under it. Click on a Topic to see all the messages posted there.

*Note: The first time you want to post on the Forum, you will be asked to set up a forum profile. This only consists of 3 short items, all optional. 1) a signature, if you desire one; 2) your location; and 3) setting your time zone. You will be able to edit your settings later in "My Settings", at the top of the Forum page.
"My Signature" (optional) is anything you may want to appear at the bottom of each of your messages. For instance, your name, a short proverb or witty saying, etc.

You can Subscribe to receive new forum posts by email. Look for this feature at the bottom of your "My Settings" page, on every message you post, and at the bottom of every Forum page. (You can later Unsubscribe from your "My Settings" page.)

Master Photo

If you would like to have a photo of yourself appear to the left of your messages, click on "Edit/Upload Photos" on the left navigation panel. If the picture that you want to use is already uploaded to your profile page, just click "Make This My Master Photo". If your photo is not already there, you will need to upload it.

How to put photos in your messages:

Posting pictures in the Forum is easy! Follow these steps:

1) Click on the Image icon (the little yellow square in the editor, at the top left, to the right of the word 'source').

2) In the Image Button popup, click "Browse".

3) Find your picture in your files and click (or double-click) on the picture.

4) Click on "Upload Now"

5) Click "OK" when it tells you it's uploaded. You can now see your image in the preview box.

6) Click on "OK" at the bottom of the Image Button box, and your picture will appear in your message box.

7) Complete your message (any text you want to add), then click on "Save". You can also preview your message if you desire, before clicking Save.

Using the text editor:

Experiment, if you want, with the editing tools. Changing the size and color of your font is fairly easy. Use the Preview button to see how your message looks before saving it. After saving your post, you will still be able to edit or delete it.

You can also attach files to your message.

Click on "Browse" at the bottom of the message box.

Locate and click on the file you want to attach.

After you save your message, your file will appear as a link at the top of the message.

(Note: Do not click on Preview after attaching your file because your attachment will be lost and you will have to attach it again.)

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for us to gather and communicate--and not to belittle, intimidate, or harass fellow classmates. All posts should be submitted in good spirit and attitude.

Political discussions are allowed, but please, people … stay above reproach and be respectful of one another’s opinions. We are not all created equal, and we do not all think equally either. Think about it.
Solicitation for business purposes is strictly prohibited. You can post your business information on your personal classmate profile page. Leave it at that. Thanks.
Evangelizing people to your faith whether Christian, Muslim, or whatever is also prohibited. Signatures with Scripture references are fine, but do NOT try and proactively persuade people to your religious orientation through the forums. Again, we do not all think the same nor do we all believe the same.
If you have a complaint or gripe about another classmate, a past or upcoming reunion event, and/or anything related to our class website, you should email the administrator and we can talk about it.
I touched on it earlier, but I’ll say it again. Personal attacks, harassment or hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated.
Sexually suggestive posts, no matter how light in nature they may seem, are not permitted. Keep it clean, guys. There is a time and a place for everything, and this isn’t it for that.
The last rule: The website administrator will review every new forum topic and response, for awhile, just so I know what I’m getting into here. I trust you guys …. But not that much! P.S. If I delete something you wrote, I have a good reason … and … it’s my final answer. IF you continue to post inappropriate content on this forum, I will remove your classmate profile from the website. Period. Consider yourself warned.

Sorry to be so “mean”, but I figure if I lay the ground rules out now, there won’t be any questions later.

Basic Rule of Thumb:There is a Standard of Decency. Please abide by it and keep it clean. Ask yourself … would you want your Momma to read what you wrote? Again, think about it before you type it and hit “REPLY”.

Favorite Memory of GHS

For me, that would have to be going to state our Sophomore year in both Soccer and Basketball. Our little town of Enon was all over the news ... our boys made us proud! My family and I attended every single basketball tournament game! Even though we lost the state game 70-74, we were still so proud of them!

Wow ... we had some great teachers at GHS! My favorite was Mr. Dunstan. He's still there and still doing a great job as a Guidance Counselor. In grade school, I'd have to say Mr. Carlton. What a great guy!
